Reggie Rabbit dreams of becoming a big-shot detective in Bearburgh City, just like his hero, Detective Fox. However, his parents have other plans—they want him to stay at home and help run their vegetable stall.

But trouble is brewing! A carrot-snatching crime wave has hit the canals, putting the family stall at risk of closing. To make matters worse, the famous Detective Fox refuses to take the case.

Reggie decides it's time to take matters into his own paws. His best lead? The new parakeet at school, Pipsquark, who has heard whispers of foul (or should that be fowl) play.
